    Very good, strong, well product, but my chickens do not like to work for their water

    I really liked the product it self. Strongly build, very sturdy. However, it is not constant flow until the cup is full. The chickens need to poke the yellow thingy to get water from the bucket. And it is not easy. Maybe easier if there is little more pressure at the water. Not good for bucket install. Or my chickens are too spoiled to work for it. At the end, the product, delivery and quality are great, but do not work with my chickens. I had to install back the bad quality flow cups back.

    Great means of keeping the chicken water clean!

    I bought these because open water pans get dirty very quickly. And the commercial water fountains that have a perimeter 'tray' of water seem to get choked up with food and other dirt as well. I put six of these into a Home Depot bucket along with a "stand" made of wood to keep it about 4" off the floor. Almost NO dirt in the cups. Plus they can't splash or 'beak' the water out of the cups so the floor of the coop stays dryer. NOTE: Don't go looking for nuts to mount these in a drilled hole. The threads are ⅛" NPT. (National Pipe Thread) I have the tools so I tapped the holes for the drinker cups. It requires an 11/32 drill to pre-drill for taping. They can be forcibly driven into a ⅜" hole drilled in plastic that isn't too thick or hard. But the threads on the drinkers are also plastic so ...

    Coukd be better listing including discription

    Didn’t come with the nuts to secure them on to a bucket. Should have disclosed that in the listing. One would expect nuts to use to make it work. Communicated with the seller and they said many use these for pvc pipe and don’t use nuts.

    Works great!

    I bought these to attach to convert 20 pound cat litter buckets into poultry waterers and they worked great. I used thread tape prior to installing and have not experienced any leaks. All ten drinker cups function as intended.
