Ended up having a friend just weld the bracket for the seat stay bridge, directly to the rack. Applied black Plasti Dip to bare metal. The rack looks great and is lighter than steel tubing, but I wouldn't sit on it. The struts bend somewhat easy enough to align the rack the way you want it. For the price, works great, with a welder handy... YMMV
