      Great Mic for Theater

      I purchased one of these mics to test before buying a bunch. Tested and did a direct comparison with a Shure WL93 lavalier in a "hair-line" installation. The frequency response was almost identical. No problems with overload in this installation. Bought 4 more right away. Compared to an $80 WL93, that comes with the rented wireless systems, these actually perform better at a much lower price. May not be a $160 Countryman B3, but is significantly less expensive. They are cheap enough that we can consider them a "consumable" item and if broken, can be thrown away and replaced. Very good value. Customer service is the best if the need arises. Will be buying more.

      Get what you pay for

      The mic does what its advertise to do - amplify sound, its a omni directional mic that is very hard to control feedback. I wasnt expecting Counrtyman b3 performace or sound , but I was unable to use it at all. I purchased just to try and see if a subminature mic would work for a specific problem in our church service. I tried unsuccessfully to get it to be loud enough without feedback. Maybe just this specific one, but I doubt it. I tested on a shure UXL bodypack moved the gain every which way but couldnt control it - no amount of EQ changes made a huge difference.

      Great microphone and price.

      We have 12 each Line6 wireless systems we use in community theatre. These work great with the Line6 xv-55 and 75 systems. They can be worn in the hair line or at temple location on the head. The sound and sensitivity are very good for speech and singing. Good microphone for the price. Will buy more when necessary.
