Now the trick to remember just to eave the light switch on when leaving these rooms. There certainly is a delay before the light does come on but it always does come on - even in total darkness. If you are looking for perfection - these aren't the solution. If you are looking for something close enough - go for it. There are 2 adjustment that can be made: 1 how long the light stays on and 2 sensitivity.
