      Had this part installed in the past week. It looked in great shape, and so far it works just fine. This particular part on the Dakota has a reputation of going south, so will hope for the best. Will use it carefully so that it lasts as long as possible.

      1998 Dodge Dakota is the only year that the whole climate control has to be changed if one of the three controls quits.

      Interesting repair. Switch worked fine after installation.
