I wanted to try these because the squash bugs do not go after them like they do the zucchini in the summer squash and even my Hubbard squash that I love so good. I also like the fact that you can eat them as summer squash when they're small but you can leave them on the vines to mature and store them for the winter time so I am very happy with this purchase

A few of the 10+ seeds are crushed from shipping so I'm sure they won't grow. The 3 packs came in sealed envelopes, labeled with planting instructions but also no padding. The sunflower seeds are large seeds and show a few are crushed.
