    Pause before recording.

    So far, it is pretty much as advertised but it does have one interesting quirk that is a sort of a problem. You may get the flash of a passing person or maybe their back as they leave, the few seconds of delay before recording the potential intrusion is not a good point AT ALL. Replacement batteries are not all that expensive at places like Batteries Plus using generic packs at $20 a dozen, at that price, replacing batteries periodically is cheaper than the "approved" rechargeable setups. Addenda: This issue is not unique to ARLO, it has been reported on some other lower end and amateur use devices.

    Terrible product

    This system has failed miserably. I keep having to add the cameras back to the camera controller. These cameras also require a monthly subscription for cloud recording. The cameras are not high resolution. Pros are that it is incredibly easy to install and use. If it weren’t for the constant drop of cameras it could be useful. Just FYI- All the cameras are within 90 feet of the server and are line of sight on the outside of my house. They shouldn’t be dropping.

    Good so far.

    One camera has a res image. Is not clear like the others. The viewing angle could be wider. And it came with only one outdoor mount but five indoor. Would be nice to choose which mounts you wanted. Motion sensor needs more range as well. Other than it is a good setup.

    I need a replacement!

    It won't connect to my laptop! I've tried everything. When I first set it up, the power and the cameras light were green and the wifi light was orange, so Arlo said I have to call my cable company to open the ports on my router, so I did and the wifi light turned green, but the camera light turned orange! I then called Arlo back and they tried everything and finally told me that it can't be done, the thing has to be returned for a new one!
