The footbed is soft but sturdy which I believe holds up better/longer. The straps are padded underneath for comfort and adjustable which is nice my feet swell towards the end of the day. Pricing you cannot beat this sandal. I typically pay $80 + on Teva Sandals every year as I love them, so far these are just as comfortable, time will tell how they hold up over the summer!
