    Can’t beat this lathe for the price has everything I wanted. It’s great for projects around a foot long or less . It threads very well with the change gears ,motor is powerful. I have turned aluminum, titanium, alloy steel and stainless with ease . The only downside size are the change gears. They only have metric pitch. Not a big deal I use tap and dies for American/sae threads . Very happy it looks very well made. It’s a heavy lil guy . A little adjustment on the tail stock and I was cutting

    Parts quality is pretty good, especially considering the price. Needs much tuning and set up work.

    While the parts re of acceptable quality this thing was basically thrown together. All sliding parts were either set up too tight or full of slop. Expect to take it apart and put some love into reassembly, but if you do it is quite serviceable.
