    The Brick

    Still a good defence against drops and scratches but not as good as the older ones. The outside flexible cover is not as cushiony as the older ones. (I have one for a 5s). The cover is more of a stiff cover and maybe a hair thinner. The older ones were a softer more rubber like cover that provided fabulous impact protection. Still, the new one is pretty good. Obviously otterbox found a way to make it a little cheaper by decreasing quality a little.

    Great Protection

    I wouldn't have an I-phone without an Otter Box. Makes access quick and simple and saves a phone from being damaged when dropped (not IF, but WHEN). On my job, I need my phone instantly accessible for tasks and texts. Too easy to destroy a phone in a moment, as many of my co-workers have done. This is the perfect gift for anyone who is prone to having their phone dropped. Got a teenager? They need this much more than they need sparkly sequin wraps and scowling skull covers that do nothing to protect the screen and case.

    Strongly recommend

    What mattered to me frankly was the protection and I can't say enough about how excellent protection the Defender provides. But at the same time I believe it's stylish and it provides an alternative to holding the phone on your waste instead of your pocket specially for big phone like 6 PLUS & 6S PLUS. Definitely I recommend the product.

    Best protection for holstered device
