    Shines the whole room

    Bought this because I had several old PC boards lying around, and used one of the CPU coolers. The mounting holes on the LED were of no use, so I first put some thermal paste, just a little, on the back of LED, "stuck" it to the cooler, making sure none of it stuck out, then I actually glued it by putting epoxy on the sides of the LED. Worked. Got a cheap 4x18650 battery holder, rewired it, I don't think it would have handled 100W stock, put thicker internal wires and thicker terminal wires. Put in 4 LG MJ1 batteries(rated at 10A & 3500mA) in series, I figured you needed the batteries to put out 7 AMPS of current each to cover 100W. Very few batteries would work in this configuration. This one does. Had to boost voltage from 16~16.8V to around 40V by using a booster(rated at 250W, but ...
