      Good trigger

      Recently purchased this trigger after previously installing duty/ carry enhancement kit. I am not a gunsmith but I watched the instal video on Apex's website as well as a few others on YouTube. I knew that some running of the trigger bar was probably going to be needed. Per Apex video I used a feeler gage to tune the bar but was unable to get it to work at all. The end of the bar kept hitting the sear head on instead of sliding by after installing the new sear spring. Ultimately a $40 dollar trip to the gunsmith fixed the problem. Now the trigger works great and I have a safe 5lb trigger pull. Vast improvement over factory S&W trigger. I highly recommend having a professional instal it though unless you really know what you are doing. Follow up: after a trip to the range I was able to be ...

      Did not work.

      Worked sporadically. Pull the trigger and hold it back wait for a few second then the gun goes off!?!?!? I don't understand why that was happening. It is not reliable and I wouldn't trust this product with my life or anyone else's life. I am a certified and experienced armorer. This is supposed to be a basic skills trigger and it is. It just didn't work for me. I cannot recommend this product.

      Good but had to shave it down at the back where it touches the frame .

      I really like the product but it needs a little better quality control , the gun didn't really work after installation , had to shave a little bit of it to make it work , otherwise the product is good and it looks great on the pistol , I recommended .

      Well worth the money

      The S&W SD9VE trigger is so bad that I considered throwing the gun away. After the trigger swap, I must confess that it feels very close to my Glock 19. The original trigger felt "springy" with a very long pull, but now it feels "crisp".

      Highly recommended!

      I highly recommend but with that said make sure you have a little knowledge about your firearm and definitely be very careful with the parts as they can be lost or misplaced easily. Is a novice job to put in this particular trigger. Had easier ones only because of gun designs. But don't be afraid to get one and ditch the squishy trigger.
