    Great Value, with Extra Bonus!

    This SSD replaced a drive that was clicking, ("the click of death"). The old drive back up and restore worked flawlessly to this new drive. Extra bonus! The laptop runs very cool now, before it was real warm on the bottom. Much faster as expected, and silent. The third HD I've installed in this machine. It is used in travel, bouncing around in the truck, exposed to the cold or hot of the weather. Sometimes direct sun as equipment I work on is exposed. I'm thinking this one should last the life of this machine.

    WOW!!

    I use an older Dell laptop as it was inexpensive and does what I need. Decided to upgrade to SSD as I've heard that it speeds everything up. WOW!! It is like a rocket now. Just a few seconds from being off it is ready to work. And shutting down it don't sit and 'choke & puke' like before. Almost like turning a light switch off. Applications load so fast you'll think they were already open. When you put the SSD in make sure you also install a good bit of RAM so it can keep up.,... GOOD INVESTMENT! I won't be buying a new computer, I just made this one new.

    A lot faster than HDD.

    I could not transfer the info. from my HDD to this SSD so I ended up with new Windows 10 Home edition. I copied everything personal off old hard drive to USB and then went to Microsoft and used the Instillation Media to USB to make new Windows 10. Make sure you format the new SSD though. It's faster that's for sure.

    quality entry level ssd for the price

    this is a good quality entry level ssd for the price. i have used the same model for over a year with no problems. it took the boot time for an older system previously using a 5400 rpm hdd from over 2 minutes to under 40 seconds.
