    The lamp was well packaged and in working condition. It was as described. The seller was not very responsive but they do say in the description that they may take some time to respond. In my case I needed to update the shipping address and while I messaged them immediately upon purchase, there was no response and so it went to an old address that I needed to coordinate around. Even when I did get a response it was only about shipping ETA because there was no movement on the time for many day.

    A cheap stopgap option

    If you are on a tight budget and want to enjoy some more low end from your music and movies you can't go wrong with this sub. Instead of spending $200 on a mediocre subwoofer, pick this up for under $70 used, and save up your extra money so that you can eventually replace it with a SVS, HSU or BIC subwoofer. I use these in my desktop setup in a small room. The sub blended in perfectly with my speakers and brings in the lower end that I needed. You will not like this subwoofer if you are in a large room, or if you want the bass to rattle your windows from 10 ft away. Caution: This doesn't have a built in LPF, so you you need to adjust it from your reciever.

    Awesome sub woofer!

    I have used many subwoofers in the past, Panasonic, Sony, LG. But this one shines above the rest. It is the perfect companion to the Yamaha HTR-6030 receiver. The interface is amazing. You simply configure it with the speaker set up and you receive the perfect balance. I am pretty sure it would work with any system. I love how it is designed with the volume knob easily accessible right on the unit. It is a shame that Yamaha has discontinued is subwoofer.

    Great little sub.

    I purchased two of these little Yamaha sub's. I needed some low frequency support for my two Altec Lancing Voice of the theater speakers. After ordering them I had second thoughts in regards to their performance. They are only 8 inches. I hoped they would Deliver enough power. What a pleasant surprise these little subs kicked rear. Only set the volume a little over half way "wow" they work great. Very pleased with my purchase.
