It stands at a full 140 millimeters tall and features all of the same parts that the Japanese original did. Bandai worked with actual anime producers who designed the original mech units, so that you could get the most accurate experience possible. This Tamashii Nations figure features authentic U.N. Spacy markings and a full naval paint scheme.

    Surprisingly detailed and solid, the only 1/100 VF choice.

    Compared to Bandai's previous Macross Hi-Metal series there are some much needed improvements with the "R" releases. Improved proportions and added die-cast, a gap-filling part for the neck, and alternate hands to recreate the TV/Movie versions. These finally offer the quality and value for their relatively steep price. If you're a 1/100 scale collector, opt to buy these instead of the domestically available versions. You'll get what you pay for.
