The clarity in the sound for me (Mid-range & Highs) perfect. Using the Bass portion adds to the richness of the sound and is clear, without rattling the windows or disturbing my neighbors. This is a great price for the quality of sound. You DO need to go the WEB and read the instructions for operations of the unit. Mini instructions are in the box. Having a smart TV helps. Fits under my TV.
