    A field watch with slight dress watch look

    I’m very pleased by this watch. Was searching for a minimalist field or pilot type watch with black face and 43 mm minimum diameter. The problem was all the other watches were smaller ( from 38 to 42 mm) and were cheap looking. This was the only watch I found which does not look too small in my 18,5 cm wrist. I changed to the watch a quality Hirsch black leather band, 22mm to replace the metal band. The face is very easy to read and clear with deep black color and white arabic numbers, both 12 h and 24h. The calender features weekday and date, it’s very easy to read as well.

    Nice watch but with issues

    Watch face is very easy and quick to read in daylight but has two issues at other times, first the glow in the dark paint is sufficient quanity on the hands but the markings on the dial are far to small to be of any reasonable use. Second, the amount of time the paint on my dial is visible is only one half to one hour after dark and this is after being exposed to direct sunlight for 12 hours.

    Excellent grab and go daily.

    Surprisingly good fit and finish. Was worried it might wear a bit large for a field watch, it does not. I feel like it wears more like a 41-42mm than a 43mm. Looks great on the supplied bracelet as well as a brown leather strap. Similar to Hamilton Khaki Field auto in dial design and case shape/size. Already own another Citizen Eco-Drive, which was part of the appeal here. An excellent grab and go daily, one that I had my eye on for a while and so far is better than I expected.

    AW0050-82E black dial Eco-Drive

    I am very pleased with this watch. I had to remove one link to size it and now it is very comfortable. What I like about the watch is that it is easy to read, and it has all the info I need. It seems to be accurate and it doesn't need a battery.
