    Great Receiver

    This receiver is great for the value. It has great sound and clarity. There is only one thing that is slightly irritating. It is not so easy to turn on the zone 2. I had a Harman Kardon before, and you simply toggled the remote to be zone 2 and you immediately control zone 2. This not at all, you have to go through several levels of menu items to turn it on. Aside from that everything else is great. I think it even sounds better than the Harman I had before before. I do like the integrated music services, bluetooth and wired/wireless internet connection it has.

    Best receiver I have ever owned

    The sound quality is amazing. A huge improvement from my Pioneer. Almost anything can be controlled by the remote. Great bass.

    great system

    have to plug into your tv to use, sound is great, havent tried wireless yet bt looks simple. internet is simple. i just need new speakers, system has mor power then my old speaks can handle.

    Not bad for the money…..

    I bought this unit used and for a fair price. I’m not a very tech savvy person, but for what I needed it for, it works great. It has Bluetooth connectivity and that’s always a plus. You can download the owners manual online. Overall, the Sony STR-DN1050 is a solid receiver that produces good quality sound.
