The seller claimed that it likely came to them like that, which I have no reason not to believe, and that they trust the condition their supplier states that it’s in before they get it (they probably drop ship). They did offer an exchange and/or refund. When I explained that it still worked and I need it to cook food b/c my tiny studio has no kitchen, they gave me a small partial refund.
