    While i know it was an open box and a bit of use might be evident and expected, i nonetheless found the beater brush to be worn out to the point the belt could no longer have proper purchase on it. A new belt did not help. I replaced the beater brush and now the vacuum cleaner performs as expected. The rest of the vacuum cleaner seemed to be good.

    The main problem was the shipping. The item arrived at the delivery location in Las Vegas but somehow ended up in Columbus, Ohio. It took me another six days before they were delivered. Not sure how to bet up the box was to start with the driver comment the the box had seen better day.
