The very strong smell is more like a burnt plastic, so the dress caught that odor. I will still send it to dry cleaners, but it would be smart to maybe change those plastic bags and use something different..even a ziplock would work better. The dress also had this little unstitched area (very easy to fix) that wasn’t mention in the description. Easy transaction.
