It’s a Universal Geneve Triple Date Moon Phase with a Mervos dial (Martel) in excellent condition. It comes from the time in the 1960s when Universal Geneve made movements for other companies, in particular, for the Swiss company Martel, which was branded Mervos on the dial. This is one of those watches. It’s an original Universal Geneve caliber 291 movement and case with a Mervos dial. This particular watch is 14K gold cap over a stainless steel back in a wonderful 36mm size, with Spanish language day and month indicators. This is a rare and collectible Swiss triple date moonphase watch and one rare with an Universal Geneve marked movement.”
