    Outdated, but a top quality monitor from its Era

    I bought the first of my Dell 2001FP monitors in 2002 for around $1000. I bought additional monitors over the years, and I now have 6 of them in total on my main computer. These are an older design in several ways. They have the 4:3 screen ratio, UXGA resolution (1600 x 1200 pixels), and they don't have HDMI inputs. However, they're bright, have a well-made base that allows for a variety of heights, angles, and rotation, integrate with Dell's sound bar, have a built-in USB hub, and inputs for VGA, DVI, composite, and S-Video. The bevel is very small compared to other monitors of its era. As I mentioned, I have 6 of them, and they're more than 10 years old. All of them are still functioning well. I might not have gotten such old monitors if I wasn't picky about everything matching, ...
