    Good base, fits well, good price. Weaver is a great.

    The base fits well on my Savage 24V. The screws are provided and are the right length. The finish is excellent. I highly recommend Weaver for bases in this price range. They do the job.

    Great base but.....

    Even though this works for me the Savage 24 seems to have a long LOP. I was able just barely pull scope far enough back for my eye relief. I still find myself having to put my head further after I bring my gun up. This is due to only having 2 positions to place scope rings. May be fine with other scopes. If it had multiple notches this would be amazing. Just be aware of that when choosing scopes.
