Compact, the original show, plus movies, plus reboot all fit on nine DVDs in two standard sized DVD cases. Each case has spots for four DVDs, but in one case a fifth DVD is stored loose in a slide-in plastic/cloth envelope. The subtitles are good quality and accurate like the original DVD release (unlike what I have heard about the Blu-ray release which lost accuracy in the subtitle translation and costs much much more).
