      Definitely Recomend this Unit

      Bought 2, open box. Both work perfectly. One is keeping a 12x18 bedroom and its adjoining bath an WIC very comfortable even with the door open most of the time. Tru, it is not as freezingly cold as an old time unit (as I understand, that is the fault of modern refrigerants), but it gets the job done. The other unit I am using to dehumidify a basement workshop and needed a unit to fit a short window height. It is doing a great job too. And the high eer is an added bonus. Electric bill has been an added delight.

      Right price but not very good

      The price is right for this little AC , although the cooling isnt that great . The air flow isnt very powerful nor does it cool a 12 x 24 room without help from another unit . Surprisingly quiet from what others have written in other reviews

      I installed this window box about 3 days ago and for noise it is about what you would expect for a 8000 btu machine would produce mostly air flow noise other than that it is fairly quiet. The ECO mode seems to work well and the air distribution is very good. It does not give you that shocking super cold air blast of some of the old time air conditioners but does the job just fine. It has many features like nigh time sleep mode, I was not used to all accessible by remote as well as on the machine itself. So far I like it and would recommend it for anyone that want to get a medium sized air conditioner
