Set at 75 mm, this Tokina zoom lens is ideal for portraits, and turning the zoom selector to 300 mm transforms the Tokina zoom into a powerful telephoto that is ideal for sports and wildlife photography. The 75 mm - 300 mm zoom has a minimum aperture of f/22 and a variable maximum aperture that depends on the focal length selected, ranging from f/4.5-5.6. This makes the Tokina 75 mm - 300 mm zoom lens for Pentax suitable for use in most lighting conditions. With 11 elements in eight groups and multicoated glass, the 75 mm - 300 mm zoom takes crisp, flare-free photos. It also has the advantage of a "one touch" zoom/focus operation, making it fast and convenient to use, even in demanding situations. The Tokina 75 mm - 300 mm zoom lens for Pentax has the convenient Pentax K bayonet mount for quick lens changes, and with a weight of just 26 oz (730 g) and length of 6.08 inches (152.5 mm), it is small and light enough to carry around all day.
