    Apparently seller changed his mind about accepting my offer. After 4 days of waiting for item to ship this is the response I received when I reached out to seller "...our account was compromised... Fraudulent activity was reported. We must assume zero liability to protect our customers and our business... the auction amount paid was not authorized by our store. Please be advised the price for this necklace is $2000.00 dollars. If you still wish to purchase please do so..." Ebay will not confirm.

    So I guess the seller’s account is no longer “compromised.” The item appeared on eBay again almost immediately after I received the seller’s above quoted response.
