We must assume zero liability to protect our customers and our business... the auction amount paid was not authorized by our store. Please be advised the price for this necklace is $2000.00 dollars. If you still wish to purchase please do so..." Ebay will not confirm.Follow-up from: x***m- Feedback followed up by buyer.- Feedback followed up by buyer.So I guess the seller’s account is no longer “compromised.” The item appeared on eBay again almost immediately after I received the seller’s above quoted response. Makes me wonder what the real story is. BTW I offered $1600... And if the account was “compromised “ why did no one contact me immediately? This story would have been more plausible if I had been notified right away, not 4 days after I made payment!I .
