    Allows 2006 MacPro1,1 to run El Capitan

    I bought this to upgrade my 2006 MacPro1,1 to be able to run El Capitan and thus get another 5 years or so use out of this great Mac. I used this graphics card along with a hard drive from another eBayer that had a modified El Capitan loaded on it. Installed both in my Mac Pro and it now runs El Capitan like a champ. This graphics card did not come with installation instructions but installation videos were easy to find on YouTube. It did thankfully come with the two power cables that are required so if you're also looking to buy one of these graphics cards, I'd suggest you carefully read the auction listings to make sure the power cables are included.

    Great sale

    It's not whisper quiet, but tbh they never were. It's not loud as heck and you could use it for a space heater in the winter, but I knew that because I did my research. I love this card. It does what I want it to.
