    Modern style tanto perfect for tactical or survival tasks.

    It feels sturdy, but not overly heavy nor is it clumsy to handle. I had one given to me many years ago and it has some sentimental value attached to it as it was given to me by my mother. I wanted another one so I might keep the first one in more pristine condition. It's also a terrific tactical knife and so good for self-defense, yet the design has proven to be versatile enough to use in the field for camping and survival. You can pack this with your tactical gear or martial arts weapons or use it as a survival/bushcraft/camping blade. And it can be an everyday use knife and being from Cold Steel it going to be very durable.

    Cold Steel Recon Tanto

    The knife is a good quality implement for the money. Blade is easy to sharpen. Does not come as sharp as it should. Scabbard is reversible but webbing material could be much better.

    Love it

    I have an older model and purchased a kydex sheath but it turns out the ricaso was different dimensions. So this newer model became available and it was a great price. Got it and really enjoy it. Really feel no difference in use. I’m a Tanto and Kukri guy.
