Rubber grips for Desert Eagle
My Desert Eagle 44 mag had the old style hard rubber grips. They were hard to get a good grip on and had no cushion. After handling a pistol with the Hogue soft rubber grips with texturing and finger grooves I ordered a set. When I received them and took them out of the shipping box I knew they were going to make a big difference. Removed the old grips with help from an online video and installed the new ones. It made all the difference in the world as to how this pistol felt and handled. I now have a great set of grips that set easy in the hand, gives me good control and cushions felt recoil which is mild because of the size of this pistol. I would recommend these grips over any other. Wood grips or G10 grips will be smaller but they will not give the control these grips do. It's your ... The clips that secure the grips break off easily!
After a while of trying to stretch the grip around the handle to secure it, the bottom clips that hold the grips onto the frame broke right off. The top ones still work but for the price I paid I was very dissapointed. You really have to put some effort into attaching these grips, so I was upset that the clips broke so easily when trying to attach them. Feels good in my hand and functions. Issues on install, It's not real easy you have to stretch it over the outside to clip it in place. The inside upper glass reinforced plastic clips in the mag well broke on install the other needed to be sanded down to allow the mags to feed and move freely because it would not eject the mag. It is a bad design which uses 2 plastic internal clips vs the standard upper 2 screws that the stock scales used. It's fine for now but down the road I will probably be replacing these with something better again. These were replacing the factory wood that cracked, so not sure anything on these at this point will be any good except maybe hard resin plastic or metal scales. Functions, good which is the important part. Grip has some give to it, and feels sticky ... Feels good in my hand and functions. Quality Grip
This is a must for a avid user of the desert eagle. The grip gives the user better control of the gun during recoil. Fits perfect on the handle. The only factor to consider is that the user must have a large hand. The grip actually adds notable amount to the grip area so getting your hand around the handle is a bit more of a challenge especially if oyu have a small hand.

I'm glad I made this purchase!
I went from anodized aluminum grips on my 50AE DE, to these Hogue grips and could not be happier. I now enjoy my range time with this beast!. Better fit in hand, less felt recoil and less fatigue. I can now shoot more accurately for a longer period of time. Fairly easy install as well. If your DE is a go piece, rather than a show piece, get these grips!
