Before I bought it I asked though if it was the clamp with the yellow pads or the one with the black pads, because the product image showed 2 different clamps. The seller said it was the yellow model. I received the black model. (note: other differences aside from color). The return was no hassle and every communication was positive with the seller.

    Wish I'd gotten a set of these sooner!

    These grips are well made, fit my particular 1911 perfectly (STI) and a very good value. $20? That's cheap plastic grip territory and these are way nicer! Getting new screws, o-rings and a wrench is just icing on a G10 cake. =) To like or not like these is a subjective thing. For me, they feel great and added to the overall appearance of the pistol.
