    Great Value for the Money!!

    OK, I only gave it 4 stars because I had one (the older model) that kind of fell apart on me, the button kept falling inside so it was difficult to use. But, another older model was great. I now have the newer model which is slightly larger. I'll have to get used to the larger one on my keychain but it isn't too much larger. The button is more secure. These are GREAT because they are inexpensive and last a couple years each (except my one older model). Practically one touch programming makes these simple to connect. You don't even have to reprogram any existing remotes, it just programs the new remote without messing with other existing remotes. I've been using these for years and am so thankful for the more pocket friendly option over genuine Craftsman remote replacements.

    Will not program automobile remote.

    Remote works OK as a single backup device, but can not program a car opener. I had lost both remotes for my garage door opener and purchased a new car. I then purchased the mini-remote so that I could teach my garage door with it and then use it to program my car. The learn function on my garage immediately saw it, but the car did not. I purchased another opener which worked just fine. We now use the mini when we ride our bikes as it's code can not be seen by any device excepy the garage opener.

    Works well but some things cheaper than necessary

    Battery holder doesn't even have + and - markings: every other board or holder I've seen has at least (+) on it; Also instructions not great - small obscure statement says take protector out of battery before use; But once the battery stuff was overcome it programmed easily and works fine with Lift-Master as 81LM remote.

    Chamberlain Mini Remote Garage Door opener

    We bought a 2nd car, so we needed a second garage door opener. It's just me and my daughter, so we were wondering how difficult it would be to program this mini opener. We were pleasantly surprised...it took all of about 5 seconds! It actually works better than the original one, since it's brand new. If you need a new opener, this is the bargain of the year.
