I am a bit undecided on the Photochromatic function of these glasses. The time it takes to darken is significant and they do not get quite as dark as I had hoped. I was trying to get a pair of glasses to go out on a ride and when the sun goes down will turn clear. They just are not as dark as I need for the BRIGHT New Mexico sunsets
