    Original American Standard Replacement Seal

    I purchased this item here on ebay to replace the faulty one on my American Standard Champion Toilet. This seal was the exact replacement that I needed and once I installed it ,my Champion Toilet no longer wasted water. This was sent to me very quickly and was in American Standard packaging. I will also mention what caused this seal to start leaking; I started using the CHLOROX round disks that you drop in the tank to keep the toilet water clean. Well after doing a lot of research I found out that these tablets cause this problem. My seal actually had a bubble that formed in the rubber there by not sealing properly. Yes this is the seal that you need if you own this model toilet and it is very easy to change. Do a google search and there are good you tube videos that show you how to do ...

    All sealed up!

    Was easy to install. So far so good with no leaks. It would be wise to buy more than one if you plan to keep this brand of toilet. American Standard should include an extra seal with all new units.

    American Std. Valve Seal

    If you have an American Standard toilet with the large throat valve, the seal ring will react to chlorine in the water in about 2-3 years. The toilet will start to loose water due to a bad seal. You will hear it trying to refill at least once per hour. Reason- the ring seal will get bubbles in it that make the seal surface irregular, thus it leaks water. The seal is easy to change. Just buy an extra and you are always prepared.

    Great Seal Easy Installation.

    Good seal. Came with good instructions. Very easy to install. One note, make sure you line up the notches on the two halves of the ball or it won't seal. That was noted in the instruction.

    Same product the manufacturer sends out for warranty repairs

    Quality is superior to replacement items I can find at my local big box hardware stores. Additionally, the little red ring included is a plus. That might just be your issue but it's hard to find a replacement for just that.
