On the Nissan Xterra there are 3 DIFFERENT kits and fitment depends on the following: year, model, and which end of the cable you are attempting to repair (either the end at the transmission or the end at base of shifter). As well on some older Xterras if 4x4 there is also a Transfer case bushing. Please contact us we sent a message with details so that we may assist you in getting the correct part. You are correct the variables are not same size so these details are important!
