    good tester for larger batteries

    This is a good tester if you want to quickly access the condition of a battery. The first 10 second use will burn off the dust/oil on the elements, then you're pretty much good to go. checked out 3 batteries in a minute with this. "Not for small motorcycle/four wheelers batteries" car, boat, rv batteries etc due to the 100 amp draw.

    Seems to work OK after first few uses...

    This tester seems to work OK based on the one battery I've checked so far. I was very nervous when I first did a load test and it smoked and smelled like burnt metal or something. It reminded me of an electric heater after being stored. I immediately thought this needs to go back. Thought about it a while and thought maybe it's just burning off it's newness so did it two more times and the smoke went a way so only time will tell if it is a durable and safe product.

    the tester worked 1 time and then the next time I went to use it the load switch did not work, but the company I bought it from is sending me another. so maybe the next review will be good.
