I have a S & W Shield Plus and it is a nice tight fit. I am sure given a little time the holster will become a little looser and a perfect fit . The belt clip is metal and strong. The only negative I can find is the fact the magazine release button is not covered, but the position of it on the Shield it should not be a problem.
