      Works as expected

      The starter body is a little smaller than oem so it was easier to fit into the suburban. My only issue is that the large wire from the solenoid to the starter is off to the side rather than a copper bar running directly over the top like the oem starter. I have an oversized exhaust which runs very close to this wire and I hope it doesn't melt the insulation on the wire. Time will tell. If the does become a problem, I will likely try to re solder the wire to lay on the other side of the starter away from the exhaust.

      I have to admit... because of the great price I was wondering how great the rebuild would be on this starter. I was amazed. The rebuild was great. I actually thought it was a new starter. I've had it in my diesel truck for a bit and it works great. Very impressed and would highly recommend. Thanks

      Awesome! New-High torque starter!

      I bought a rebuilt starter from advanced last year for twice the money and gave me problems right after the 1 yr warranty expired! Ya'll were fast and half the money and a new starter not rebuilt,she fires the 6.5 right up now! Thank you!
