    Insteon 2244 Starter kit

    The lamp dimmer modules are great. The hub is very good but has one recurring issue. For no apparent reason it loses network connectivity. Usually a complete disconnect, network and power, waiting for 30 seconds and reconnecting fixes it. I have had to contact Insteon and they provided a "3 press reset" to correct it when all else fails. I have been an avid fan of X-10 for many years. This is a definite improvement. My entire house is connected including Amazon Alexa and Echo voice control. One shortcoming that came to light (pun intended) was after Hurricane Irma. It too 8 days to get internet back and even though I had power and internal network Insteon would not respond. If Insteon could develop a software update to all internal home control without internet, this would have ...
