- l***a (34)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseSadly, tho stated for use on the FT-897(D), and even labelled as such on the flexible PCB., it is slightly too large to fit into the LCD holder, approx 1 - 2mm too long. I have 2 choices, return it and get one that fits, or figure out how much plastic I can shave off the LCD holder without affecting the backlighting system built into that holder. I also discovered that the LCD panel is thicker than the origional one, by about 0.25 to 0.5mm, this means that it sits up higher than it should.
