The handle was not drilled out for the screw to go through it, and the handle ID (inner diameter) is too large to fit snugly on the shaft, sigh... not sure how long that will last, might have to wrap some duct tape around the shaft to fill the void? Price was reasonable, but the scoop and the fasteners started rusting after the first use, I guess you get what you pay for. Tip, if using on the beach, rinse it off fresh water
