I bought this adapter for a tapered crankshaft on a 30HP 992CC Twin cylinder Generac motor. It seems to fit the crank taper okay, not covering the total crank taper, but enough it should work. The hole for the bolt I will have to drill from 5/16" to 3/8". The seller has it listed right, but my crank is 3/8" x 24 TPI. No problems with this seller at all.
