    These are deigned to rust through the metal, then the part of the rod that's inside the downtube falls off. I find this Corp Scum Design. They design it to fall apart. I'll coat it with something first. Then, no more problems? 30 years ago things would last for 40 years. Now designed to fall apart in 1 to 2 years. Our landfills have no chance to survive this.

    Thankyou for listing this. that part, of the metal rod, AFTER, the plastic sphere/pivot point, broke off (corroded) on my original 10 year old unit. I thought I could JB Weld it, but no. A search on Ebay located the part and you, sir, get the benefit of this sale! The item arrived quickly and is now installed. Hopefully it'll last yet another 10 years!

    Exact replacement for Moen drain

    If you have a Moen bathroom faucet/drain and want an exact replacement, including washer and nut, this is it. About the same price as the generic replacements at big box store. I just wish someone would make this out of brass or stainless steel. Then you wouuldn't need a replacement.
