Only design quirk that I wasn't expecting is that the temperature presets will not work in low 900w (eco) mode. Pressing a preset temp button will bring it up to full 1500w power; putting it into eco mode will run heat continuously with no temp control or shutoff. Stupid design flaw, not the seller's fault.
