    Not for 13 year olds

    My Grandson is Thirteen and I gave him this for Christmas. He has better than average mechanical skills as I am his teacher and he has had difficulty with the basic robot. I have had to disassemble and find subtle mistakes that he missed causing the Robot not to work. Adult supervision definitely required.

    More difficult to put togethethan we thought

    This robot was not very easy to put together. All of the parts have to be cut out of the plastic and sorted into individual bags. I bought this to build with my 6 year old with the understanding that it would be a fun activity even though it was too advanced for him to build by himself. It took hours to cut out the pieces and sort. My 11 year old decided to give it a shot and changed his mind after an hour. The good thing is there are a bunch of different types of robots you can build from this kit, but unfortunately for us we got one almost complete and threw in the towel. 4 hours on a Saturday that could have been spent on something more enjoyable for both of us.

    Robot Kit - Gears are not not smooth and does not work

    Item was delivered as promised and on time. We watched multiple You Tube Videos before we assembled the 1st Robot. Assembly was straight forward. Gears are not smooth. It gets stuck every turn. I could not find any help online or in the manual on how to rectify the gear problem.
