    It's obvious you love the XDs 45 if you're already shopping for this magazine. It's a large caliber single stack compact which is the kiss of death for capacity. Adding more rounds is the next logical tactical step for your every day carry since Springfield sells the XDs with only a 5 round and a 6 round mag. Of course 7 is better than 5 or 6 rounds, no one will debate that. What you may find is that when these 7 round mags first came out there were quite a few people in forums complaining about them causing jams. When you buy your 7 round mag make sure you function test it. You'll want to fire it with 50-100 rounds at least. It was speculated in the forums that Springfield used the 6 round mag spring rather than a longer/strong mag spring for the first run of these. Springfield will ...

    Great Value for Two Extra Rounds

    Factory mags give you only 5 rounds, but the highest level of concealment. Adding two more rounds to that package may concern some, but all I had to do to hide the additional length of this 7 rounder is adjust my cant slightly to pull the handle of my XDS 45 closer to my body. Definitely worth the extra cost to provide one in the chamber and 7 more in the mag. It also helps by giving you more for target practice without having to reload so often.

    Well, it did not fit my gun, it did not slide all the way in and latch into position. I had to carefully machine down the 3D printed slide on extension because it was too tall? After removing a few thousands of material it fit and worked, I'm a back yard target shooter so I'm not to particular about my gun staying in showroom condition.

    XDS Extended 7 round Magazine - beauty!

    The XDS 45 ACP Springfield Armory Extended 7 round magazine purchased is really nice. Excellent quality but would recommend the purchase of a magazine reload device. Excellent seller and fast ship. The magazine butt extends even further (by a bit), to make the draw of the XDS 45 ACP with a better initial grip during the draw. I use this 7 RND magazine all the time over my 5 and 6 round magazines.
