    It's a pretty decent flip-open scope cover.

    It's a pretty decent flip-open scope cover. I think Butler Creek makes at least a couple different quality levels of scope covers. I don't think this is their top-of-the-line offering. The size was a perfect fit based on my measurements and Butler Creek's specifications. I installed the scope cover and it seemed to work pretty well but I haven't tried it out in the field in inclement weather so I can't say for sure how it works when and where it's needed the most.

    If you're going to leave it open, it is easy to remove to protect it.

    It fits the scope well, keeps it clean and gives instant access. It is a little fragile. I bought this one to replace the one I broke. I bumped something while it was open.
