Good as a backup bow
I bought this Brazilwood bow along with a Pernambuco bow from the same maker to compare them, the later being the better performer, but the Brazilwood still has good sound making it decent for learning with. I wasn't expecting too much for the price I paid, but it's still a good deal and I feel it will be fine as a backup bow. The craftsmanship isn't as meticulous as the Pernambuco, but that's probably the general price difference talking. This Brazilwood bow in particular though had a slight warp to it from the top view, from the tip to the handle but it still sounds similar to my old Brazilwood bow in performance. The sound is softer than my Carbon bows, yet not as clean as the Pernambuco bow. I'd recommend this Brazilwood bow as a backup bow, or for someone learning who doesn't want ...
